Tired of being a Simpson? Check out these Cool Avatars.

With just a clear headshot photo you can have your very own Gizmoz Avatar in minutes, but I must warn you, you'll end up spending hours laughing over all the funny combinations you can make of yourself, friends and family. Don't try this when that term paper or work project is due. This is for those times when you're depressed and need a good belly laugh.

Zwinky's are also fun and great for your MySpace or Personal Blogs, but if you're the more serious type or need an Avatar to get the job done, then it's a SitePal that you need. Me, I'm a Simpson in a World of Sitepals and Zwinkies. It seems the Cool Avatars are taking over the World and leaving all us Simpson's to work in the nuclear power plants of life. Of Course, Anyone can now be Cool. Not so blessed in the looks department? No problem, Join Second Life and be whoever you choose, male?..female?..it's your choice. Need to be a Spokesperson for your business online, but don't want to add the picture of you working in pajamas at the computer? No problem, add a Sitepal! Sitepal's are so cool they will even do the talking for you. All you need to do is type what you want to say and they speak. How cool is that!

Soon the Cool Avatars will rule the World. Not that it's a bad thing...I'd rather see SitePal Kyle as the Leader of the Free World than President Bush, or better yet SitePal Dana! She looks like she could do a much better job.

Hey,

Can we talk? I mean really talk! Let's get real about Avatars.

I admit I'm not exactly your typical geek. Yeah! I'm a geek...just not your typical geek. I love technology and all things computer, but I sorta got short-changed in the brains department. I may love techno everything but I sure don't understand techno anything. I don't have a clue how these avatars work or the technology that goes into creating something this cool, but since the very first time my son showed me the Mii on his Wii, I've been hooked on avatars. Now I'm on a mission to learn all things avatar and I'm hoping you'll be around to help. I'll be sharing what I learn on this blog.

I should say that my mission will only include the PG version, I hear there is a whole weird world of different kind in the Adult world. Not my cup of tea, so please let's keep it kid friendly.
